Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins works as a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works at ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year of 2016. Her daughter is television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been bilingual since the age of nine. This ability has helped her get her first work at Univision, Miami. She was able to work with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In the following years it was announced that her CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas in order to be journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reporting on stories related to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking on the Texas as well as the Mexico border, she worked as a reporter for news on KNVO TV 48 Univision, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She was born November 22, 1985 at Mexico City. She's younger than her sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and was settled in Miami. She divorced her parents shortly afterwards and in 1995 she tied the knot with an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. In the summer of 2006, she visited an entire week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Antonietta was a senior high school student, but she had a very clear vision of what she wanted to do in her future career. She went to Mount Union University to see if it was a good fit for her. It was an amazing campus. The university also provided her with the program she was interested in. When she finished her high-school studies, she entered the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU where she's a member. They developed a close connection. He encouraged her to be self-confident and his passion for journalism was deeply affecting her as did she. She was determined to fulfill his expectations, and to never disappoint him.
